The use of fill light is nice here but an even softer light or bouncing the light would have evened the buddah out even more while reducing the shadow to the left of it. Other than that, this is a great use of the two thirds rule of composition and a very adorble subject choice.

The great thing is equipment isnt everything, reflecting lights by having a friend holding a blank white piece of paper above the subject and making the light point at this "hanging sheet". Just like a cloudy day has even light but no shadows the paper reflecting light gives even light all the way around. This technique is used in lightboxes or profesional light rooms for food shots and products, but is easily done cheaper!
I hope my harshness isnt too much, I just say this thing in the comments saying that you like critique and it made me want to share!
